Our school community recognizes that not all students learn at the same rate or in the same manner. Dawson County Schools offers a non-traditional option for students at Hightower Academy. Opportunities for students include credit recovery, summer school, graduation acceleration, and dual enrollment at Lanier Tech for qualifying students. Students enrolled in Hightower may participate in the graduation exercise. Acceptance into the Hightower Academy program is required

- Students must complete the new- or returning-student registration process before submitting a Hightower program application.

- Students who choose to attend Hightower Academy for grades 9-12 are committed for an entire semester (18 weeks).

- Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by Hightower Academy administration.
